Saariselkä is a downhill skiing resort comprising two fells. The Kaunispää and Iisakkipää fells have 15 downhill skiing slopes with level of difficulty varying from very easy to the black run.

Snowboarders will be pleased with Finland’s longest street and children have their own nursery slope and Finland’s longest sledging hill covering 1,200 metres.

Ivalo and Inari have a cross-country skiing trail network covering around 30 km. The entire municipal region of Inari has around 50 kilometres of illuminated trails/routes.
