Arktikum off ers people of all ages interesting adventures focused around the nature and culture of
the
North. Arktikum’s exhibitions provide an insight into the way of life
of the world’s northern-most regions from prehistoric times and into
the future. Arktikum’s facilities also include a café,
a charter
restaurant, library and fascinating souvenir shop. Arktikum is located
in the town centre of Rovaniemi on the shores of the Ounasjoki River.

Ranua Wildlife Park is Santa’s own wildlife park. It is home to around 60 species of wild
animals small and large, that live in the Arctic and northern regions. Ranua Wildlife Park is
open throughout the year and in addition to a restaurant, it also has the Fazer Candy Store. In the
summertime the wildlife park also has a domestic animal park.

Cross the magical Arctic Circle, dine in the restaurants and browse the
souvenir shops or go on an adventure arranged by the activity companies
in the Santa Claus Village. Santa Claus himself can be met every day of
the year at the Santa Claus Office. The village is located 8 kilometres
from the town centre. Bus no. 8 will take you between the village and
town.
