HOW TO GET HERE

Pyhä-Luosto is in a central locality between highway nos. 4 and 5. You can reach the fells from Rovaniemi in around an hour and a half, and the region is also easily reached from further afield, as the airlines Blue1 and Finnair regularly fly the route from Helsinki to Rovaniemi. You can also enjoy the journey by train to Rovaniemi or Kemijärvi. Whether you come by plane or train, you can reach Pyhä-Luosto using the Tunturipikavuoro or SkiBus buses that operate daily; 4 daily return services in the winter season and during periods of no snow cover there are two return services operated each day.  There is also a bus connection to Pyhätunturi from the trains arriving in Kemijärvi.
