Riisitunturi National Park

Riisitunturi National Park, located in the Koillismaa region in north-eastern Finland, offers the scenery of fells, wooded hills and hanging bogs. The best way to take in the beauty of the area is to climb to the top of Riisitunturi Fell. In the winter, the landscape is dominated by spruces covered in thick snow.

Riisitunturi National Park is an ideal destination for day trips or short hikes. You can stay overnight in a tent or in the park’s lean-to shelters. Marked routes are available in both summer and winter.
